In the previous examples, the default value for the success_url argument was a hard-coded URL. In the applications you ve developed in this book, though, you ve worked hard to stay away from ever doing that. For example, in the models, when you defined get_absolute_ url(), you always used the permalink() decorator to ensure that it uses a reverse URL lookup based on the current URL configuration. And in your templates, you saw how to use the {% url %} tag to perform a similar reverse URL lookup and make sure we you always output the correct URLs for links. You haven t encountered this in a view, however, and neither of the solutions you ve seen so far will work in this context.
